Comissão judicativa de John Cedars

É já amanhã. Chegou a hora de enfrentar  a ira do Corpo Governante/"Jeová Deus", representado pelos anciãos locais. Mais uma vez digo, só de fora se consegue perceber o quão fascista e errado está este culto. Mesmo estando eu só afastado, e secretamente frequentando este forum para não perder o contacto com a minha familia, digo em verdade: Se há um Deus no céu só pode sentir repulsa por alguem que impede o rebanho de pensar livremente. Estamos com o Cedars que sempre foi verdadeiro, ao contrário do espirito de falsidade que respirava na Organização do Homem.

Já hoje havia visto no facebook o comentário do Cedars sobre este assunto, mencionando que iria enfrentar esta situação amanhã. Ele irá sozinho, embora a sua esposa também tenha sido convidada para esta reunião. Tendo em consideração a gravidez da esposa e o estado emocional que uma situação destas iria criar nela, ela não estará presente.

Ele mencionou também, conforme mostra o vídeo, que não gravará a comissão judicativa. Eu escrevi-lhe uma mensagem, mencionando que embora possa não a colocar online, ele deveria gravá-la, pois nunca se sabe se não poderá ser útil no futuro.

A Comissão Judicativa (CJ) do Cedars já ocorreu. Aqui está um breve relato dele (em inglês), que aguça o apetite para o artigo que ele irá escrever, onde contará com maiores detalhes a reunião.

I've just got back from my JC! The deed is done and I am now officially disassociated. There is a lot for me to write about in my article, but I'll try and mention a few of the main points.

Firstly, I got an email from my father moments before I was due to leave, basically reaffirming that he couldn't speak to me any longer. This knocked me off balance somewhat, and gave me two things to think about rather than just one.

The meeting itself was fairly amicable. There was one elder from the Croatian branch, one from a Zagreb congregation, and my coordinator, who is fairly young and inexperienced. The branch office guy was very much chairing the whole thing.

It turns out the discovery of my website was nothing too romantic. A Witness in Croatia found the site and emailed my coordinator and that's how he found it - or at least that's the official line.

I was told that they didn't want the meeting recorded "for my own privacy" and I told them I wasn't recording it (which I wasn't).

There were two issues of contention where I lost my cool a bit, but then remembered a few things and found my way around their reasoning eventually.

One involved my threat about kicking up a stink in Croatia if my inlaws are manipulated against us by elders. They said "we will only tell them to do what it says in the bible," which I originally took as a threat that they will make sure they shun us.

Then I remembered myself and smiled saying, "well that's fine by me, because nowhere in the bible does it say that family members should shun eachother."

This led to a brief doctrinal discussion about shunning where I got them on the ropes. I will explain more in my article, but the branch office guy responded in an intriguing and telling way to a certain scriptural question I asked him.

At this point the elder from Zagreb asked me a question about my threat, saying "you seem like a really nice man, I don't understand why you would threaten us." Again, I will tell you how I responded to this in my article, but I put him in the picture about who is the true aggressor in this scenario.

There was also some contention towards the end when they refused to accept my wife's letter of disassociation, which was written in Croatian in her usual diplomatic tone. They took the lack of straightforwardness as a sign that perhaps they could "help" her too.

They started talking along the lines of having her appear before a separate JC, and I started to get worked up because I know how much she would hate this and how stressful it would be for her.

Then I managed to retrieve my "elder head," and I remembered that, in order to disassociate, she only needs to get a letter to the elders. When I remembered this and said that's what we would be doing, they were clearly flustered that I had found a loophole. They obviously wanted the opportunity to grill her too, and I had snatched it from them.

The meeting ended with handshakes (at my suggestion). It was over in about 30 minutes, but it took me a while to get back because I recorded a video in the car and also had to relate things to my wife on my return.

So basically, I will reveal more details in my article tomorrow, but that's the basic gist. I am disassociated and free from the organization, no attempt was made to answer any of my objections, an attempt WAS made to increase the stressload on my wife, but I was having none of it.
